Casa Tobala Hotel - Oaxaca

1) Great location, spacious room, effective air conditioning

1) Sewage smell, spotty WiFi, noisy street

Everything was really good, clean hotel, marvellous and lovely location close to the center of Oaxaca. The room we had was spotless and huge with 2 queensize beds. It met needs well.

A safe, coffee, and WiFi available in the double room. Magnificent, incredible location in Oaxaca, short walk to historic sites, the big Oaxaca markets and the food market. Genuinely helpful and very attentive hotel employees all round.

The location was perfect, only two blocks from the bustling Zocalo, with access to the markets and attractions. My room was surprisingly spacious with effective air conditioning, a relief during the heat. One particular staff member stood out for her kindness.

The location at Casa Tobala was fantastic, just two blocks from the Zocalo. The rooms were spacious with working air conditioning, a big plus during the hot days. One staff member was particularly helpful and sweet. The cleanliness was concerning. The room floors were filthy, and the third floor had garbage scattered everywhere. While the coffee supplies were a nice touch, it was frustrating not to have a coffee machine. The WiFi struggled to connect and often dropped just under the modem. I also encountered cold water during my showers, disappointing after long days out. While there were a few highlights, several issues detracted from the stay, particularly regarding maintenance and amenities.

Location: the hotel was short walk to all the markets, the centre and restaurants, downtown of Oaxaca and including a food market. Stopped by La Michoacana Natural to get some coffee and treats, it's next to the venue, recommend🙂

The street became very narrow!!! Wi-Fi connection was poor everywhere!!! The bathroom sink looked dirty, and the shower wall was broken and dangerous!!!

The location is stellar, just two blocks from the Zocalo, perfect for grabbing delicious eats at nearby spots like Restaurante la Rana Feliz! The spacious room was a nice oasis. The helpful female staff member.

The location was fantastic, just a quick walk from the vibrant markets and historic sites like Santo Domingo Basilica. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the heat, and the rooms were spacious, offering more than enough space to unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, the staff were really good too help with arrangements for restaurants nearby.

This place was just 2 blocks away from the zocalo. I loved having a big room with a solid AC. Definitely needed that! The staff was helpful, especially one lady who was so sweet. Just wish the bathroom could've used a bit more cleaning.

the room lacked an extra pillow. but the location was great right near a food market. staff were super helpful and bags were stored for me all day. large room, good hot water too.

The staff provided fresh towels daily, a nice surprise.
